Today, craftsmen have adapted to make decorative gifts, jewelry, hats and other creative handicrafts. The craft of weaving lauhala has been passed down throughout the generations from ancient Polynesia to todays local handicrafters. We have a selection of favorites and classics available. We recommend that you measure yourself to get a good fit. An easy way to do this is by taking a piece of string and measuring your hand at the widest part, usually your knuckle (hold your hand straight and fold your thumb inside).
