SPEED-SHOT and SPEED-CLEAR PRO work together to speed up the curing time of SPEED-CLEAR PRO, without compromising the open work time. So there is no need to rush an installation. SPEED-SHOT is not mandatory, but we highly recommend using it, unless you're coating the vehicle inside and are not in a hurry for it to become dry to the touch and start to cure. Depending on application conditions, WITH SPEED-SHOT, you should be dry to touch in 15-20 minutes. WITHOUT SPEED-SHOT, it may be an hour or more.  SPEED-SHOT comes in a 4 ounce bottles, which is enough to prepare 4 bottles of SPEED-CLEAR PRO. 1 ounce of SPEED-SHOT to 8 ounces of SPEED-CLEAR PRO.  Mix only what you plan to use within a several hour time frame. Do not try to save any premixed product for a later date. Once mixed, the curing process has already begun.
