Aloe marlothii

If you're ever feeling thorny and have no one to spend the time with, Aloe marlothii is always a good choice. Working with this plant will show you that humans and animals aren't the only ones capable of leaving scratches on your body, but don't let this scare you away, Aloe marlothii is out of this world, honestly. As an owner of this Aloe, you will see it turn into an Aloe tree! Of course, you will need three things; patience, time & just a bit of a green thumb...and we can only develop two out of those three. Thorns cover a large surface area of the ghostly-green leaves, both on the upper and lower sides. A maroon-wine colored flower stalk emerges from the center of the plant and shoots upwards, sending out horizontal stems from which burst orange and yellow racemes, made up of hundreds of tiny flowers...talk about the bing bang!  It can benefit from a bit of shade in regions where sunlight is very intense during the hot summer months.  *Aloe marlothii info-Origin: South Africa
