Undyed Superwash Yarns | Black Squirrel Yarns

We were surprised how hard it is to find nice, soft, and affordable undyed yarns to pair with other colors. These are the same yarns used by indie dyers, just in their natural state. Most are ecru, some like the yak yarns are grey due to the natural color of the animal fiber. If a yarn is called out as a sock yarn, we feel it will work well for socks. Find them here.  Perfect for pairing with another yarn or for your dyeing experiments.  All yarns labeled Superwash are machine washable on the gentle cycle with cool water and lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life and beauty of your finished pieces.
