Emeril's Creole Christmas

Shop Notes: Emeril has been around forever and a lot of us grew up learning how to cook watching his Food Network shows.  I have a soft spot in my heart for the fact that my husband and I enjoyed our first fine-dining experience at Emeril's Delmonico, and to this day it ranks as one of my top five meals ever.  This cookbook is really fun, but in reality it's more than a cookbook...it's a lovingly written essay on how folks in New Orleans celebrate Christmas.  Kudos to Mr. Lagasse for his dedication to bringing folks together all year 'round. This book contains a wealth of Creole-inspired recipes, both traditional and new.  Someone please make me a plate of Crawfish-stuffed Pork Chops or Christmas Gumbo.  Wine and festive cocktail recommendations and recipes are also included.  Bonus points are awarded for the fact that this book contains Emeril's recipe for Banana Cream Pie, which is hands-down the best banana cream pie I've ever tasted.  It's just heavenly and would make a great addit
