S2000HX 15oz "Otokogi" Wide Straight Selvedge Denim

A relaxed, straight fit jean, Samurai's S2000HX is the brand's latest wide leg fit, modeled after jeans produced during the Second World War. Constructed from their flagship 15oz denim, composed of 100% Texas cotton, Samurai's Otokogi denim is woven with a slubby cotton thread and contains trace amounts of cotton waste, providing a slubby finish with a subtle nep, in addition to a black and silver selvedge ID. To maintain a period correct jean, Samurai omits rivets near the coin pocket, maintains a chain-stitch run-off on the inside of the waistband near the fly, and doesn't fully trim excess fabric in certain parts of the jeans construction (which was a time saving step during the war effort).  This is an unsanforized jean that has been washed once to remove most of the shrinkage from the fabric.
