Origins & Craftsmanship Distillery: The Balvenie, Dufftown, Speyside, Scotland. Known for traditional methods: in-house floor maltings, on-site coopers, and dedicated malt masters. Aging & Finishing: • Matured for 14 years in traditional American oak casks (ex-bourbon). • Finished in casks seasoned with a blend of Caribbean rums, adding tropical sweetness and richness. ABV / Proof: Bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof). Craft Philosophy: The finishing project was overseen by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, one of Scotch whisky’s pioneering figures in cask finishing.
