Bardstown Bourbon "Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Finish" Bourbon Whiskey

Bardstown Bourbon Company's Collaborative Series: Silver Oak Edition is a masterful fusion of aged bourbons and fine wine craftsmanship. This limited-release expression showcases Bardstown's innovative approach to blending and finishing. Blend Composition: The bourbon is a blend of six straight bourbons sourced from five states, aged between 9 and 15 years: 25% Kentucky 14-year-old (75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley) 23% Tennessee 12-year-old (84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malted barley) 22% Kentucky 10-year-old (78% corn, 13% rye, 9% malted barley) 15% Indiana 9-year-old (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley) 10% Kentucky 10-year-old (78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley) 5% Georgia 12-year-old (80% corn, 10% rye, 5% wheat, 5% malted barley)  This blend was then finished for 17 months in Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, imparting unique wine cask characteristics to the bourbon.  Tasting Notes: Nose: Aromas of baked strawberry, plum, roasted nuts, cinnamon, and cocoa.
