57.43% ABV, 750 ml, Batch 120, This is a "Blackwell's Single Barrel Pick" of the Blackened Whiskey in Cask Strength. BLACKENED is a marriage of the finest bourbons, ryes& whiskeys, hand selected by Dave [Pickerell] himself. Each of thewhiskeys offer unique flavor that play a key role in the finalspirit. Predominately bourbon, the sweetness of BLACKENEDpairs perfectly with the savory spice offered by thehigh rye composition.   Dave is renown for his whiskey finishes—an aspect he calls“flavoring for adults”. By resting the whiskey in the barrelof another spirit during the maturation phase, the whiskeypicks up some of the unique, residual flavors left behind inthe barrel. For BLACKENED, Dave chose to finish the whiskeyin black brandy casks.
