In this hands-on, creative camp we will explore the vibrant world of fabric dyeing and dive into the art of tie-dye, indigo dyeing, and fabric collage to make unique, one-of-a-kind creations. Campers will learn the ancient and modern techniques of fabric dyeing, starting with the iconic tie-dye method to make their own custom t-shirts. Using a variety of clips and binds used in the traditional Japanese Shibori tie dye methods, campers will also experiment with the ancient art of indigo dye, a deep blue natural dye, to create stunning indigo bandanas.
