They usually nest in trees and like to perch on branches. A typical lay is 6-10 eggs.  -Description: These ducks are a smaller specie of duck that keep their color year round. They can reach about 14-15 inches and weigh about 11-12 ounces. They can live up to 10-15 years. The male and females make different calls.  -Diet: The Ringed Teal Ducks are dabblers meaning that they dabble in the swampy areas and they make shallow dives, eating vegetations, small fish, seeds, insects, and waterfowl pellets.
