This is the Picatinny mount adapter for action cams with tripod mounts. It allows you to install your action cam to your air pistol, airsoft gun or paintball marker. It is extremely lightweight and can be mounted to either side of the pistol. This Action Cam Tripod Mount works on Weaver rails, Picatinny rails, and NATO accessory rails. It is compatible with the following action cam models:- GoPro Action Cams (using GoPro tripod adapter)- Vivitar DVR786HD Full HD 1080P Action CamIt will also be compatible with other action cams that has a tripod screw mount at the bottom.You will need a #8-32x1.5" screw and a #8-32 nut to fasten this adapter onto the Picatinny rail. Then you will need a 1/4"-20x0.5" screw to fasten the action cam to this adapter. The screws and nut are included.Airsoft equipment and action cameras used for illustration of this Digital Video Camera Tripod Mount are not included.It is possible for an extreme force to knock the action cam off this mount (or any mount for that matter). Therefore, the video camera should be tethered (via its tethering slot) to the gun, in addition to being mounted via this adapter.WARNING: Although you can use this mount adapter to fasten your action cam to your real firearm, this adapter has never been tested with real firearms before.
