Our baptismal dishes are made in the USA of high-quality, solid, domestic hardwoods. Heirloom quality, these dishes are designed for use during the baptismal ceremony in the application of water upon the head of the baptized. The dish's wooden composition and “boat-like” shape draw upon parallels noted in scripture and early christian writings of Noah’s ark and its prefigurement of Baptism.
