MUM

Preamp, VCA, Clipping, Performable Pulse button Make-Up and Manipulate (MUM) is a combination of quality variable-gain preamp, clipping circuit, a VCA, and a momentary Pulse button for manually gating the signal on and off (with no clicks). Use it to amplify, attenuate, and gate anything from modular AC/DC signals, to contact mics and guitar, to the grimy voltage-starved output of a BCA Passive Mangle module - all in 4HP. The Pulse button is fast-acting and performable: When the channel is latched into Off Mode, Pulse acts as a push-to-talk button, allowing your input signal to pass while the button is held. Conversely, when the channel is latched into On Mode, Pulse acts as a push-to-mute, killing all signal while held. A Pulse output jack mirrors the Pulse button's action, so you can simultaneously send 5V gates to other modules in the system, even as you tweak your signal within MUM.
