Time is a Phoenix. Small Hourglass.

A most special piece as its specific design is a collaboration between myself and my husband, Aaron Horkey. When I knew I wanted to create a 'Night Time' hourglass jewel, I made several loose sketches that I shared with Aaron alongside the eternal inspiration of the Art Nouveau period as a point of reference ( which creates a kind of time travel inherent in its design alone due to its tether to this time period from the past.) Aaron immediately conjured several beautiful hourglass sketches based on my drawings and this inspiration which became the heart of this singular hourglass. Getting to share ideas and inspiration with my husband highlights how we can form meaningful connections with others over the course (time) of our lives.
