Scientific name:     Acer rubrum ‘Brandywine’       Description:             Brandy wine is a deciduous tree that produces red flowers in the early spring. Leaves are red and turn purple red in the fall.         Soil:             Wet or dry acidic soil for best color.       Mature Size: 35’ tall, 20’ wide.       Light: Full sun.       Bloom Color: Small red flowers early spring.       Planting: Use Leafgro soil amendment and finish with mulch.
