Pre-order now for delivery in April-May! Carex socialis  This low woodland sedge forms a dense tufted mound with narrow foliage. Leaves are a light green and can be semi-evergreen. Green flower spikes emerge in late spring. Plant in a part-sun to part-shade location with moist, well-drained soil. Will do well in wet or seasonally flooded areas. Deer resistant, this sedge would make a great woodland groundcover.  A good choice for rain gardens, woodland areas and when used in mass plantings. Native to the Eastern United States. Arrives to you in a  gallon-sized pot.
