Antique 18th Century English Georgian Mahogany Hinged Top Mule Chest Coffer 1780

A good antique 18th century George III mahogany mule chest, coffer, circa 1780.This very attractive and all original Georgian chest chest having a lift up hinged lid providing lots of clean and aroma free storage, the sides of the chest with ribbed pilasters, both ends of the chest having recessed panels. The front of the chest having seven drawer fronts with all the original turned pulls, the top four drawers are dummy. There are three drawers to the base above a shaped apron, the chest is raised on ogee shaped bracket feet.Condition is very good, the chest is all original including the finish which is a warm mellow dark honey color and just lovingly received a coat of wax polish in Bloomsbury's professional workshops, this elegant and useful antique chest is ready to grace your space.
