Just a step above many antique Georgian chest on chests, this handsome chest on chest is made from the very finest Cuban mahogany and all the drawer linings and sides are made of dovetailed hardwood. In two sections; the top having a stepped crown, below are two short and three long graduated drawers, the base with three long graduated drawers. All the drawers retain the original brass escutcheons (lock plates) and handles, the chest on chest is raised on shaped bracket feet. If you are going to buy a late 18th century Georgian chest on chest this is the one, fine figured Cuban mahogany, original brasses and finish, no damage or restoration, great size, lots of storage and very pleasing to the eye!
