Antique French Kidney Shaped Inlaid Side Table / Cabinet / Chest with Sevres Plaque, circa 1890

A very fine antique French Louis XV style inlaid 'kidney' shaped side table/chest, inlaid walnut with a large Sevres style plaque depicting lovers in 18th century dress, circa 1890. The top is inlaid with a large enameled 'Bleu Celeste' Sevres style plaque and framed with a gilded bronze ribbon, then crossbanded with rosewood, following with a band of walnut 'basket weave' parquetry, finished with another band of rosewood and a gilded bronze gallery. The front having three inlaid drawers with gilded bronze handles and featherbanded with walnut in a lighter shade, the sides having corresponding featherbanded panels, the table  raised on cabriole legs with bronze mounts to the feet. Condition is excellent.
