A very elegant Italian carved walnut Renaissance Revival library dining table, circa 1880.The table top edge having two bands of carved gadrooned decoration, underneath the top there are two corbel carved brackets at each corner of the, the table skirt having a carved arcaded frieze on each side. The table is raised on four substantial square ribbed legs with Corinthian capitals, the table is joined with a carved 'H' frame stretcher and raised on carved zoomorphic lion's paw feet.
