Antique French Grand Tour Bronze Statue Sculpture Napoleon Column Vendome 1860

A very good antique French patinated bronze Grand Tour model of the Column de Vendome, Paris, circa 1860. A fine cast bronze model of the famous Paris monument modelled on Trajan's column in Rome erected by Napoleon I in 1810 to commemorate the Battle of Austerlitz. This model is extremely well cast with Napoleon stood upon a dome top surrounded by a balustrade, atop a fine spiraling relief scene of Trajan's column with a platform with a cast eagle at each corner, all above a finely balustraded black marble base. Condition is excellent , great patina on the bronze, no damage or repair.
