This material is composed of poly-lactic acid (PLA) filaments, derived from corn starch through a process of lactic fermentation and polymerization.  We chose these sachets because they are ideal for brewing tea, thanks to their excellent permeability and durability, which ensure the full release of flavors without compromising structural integrity.
