Birds Claw & Pearl Pendant


 This is a life cast of a catbird's claw. I cast it in solid Sterling silver here in New York City, USA. The claw is an inch long. 
 I hand select each 8mm natural white pearl from a reputable dealer. The pearl is drilled and then professional set on a post on the claw. Then the claws are bent around the pearl. It's in there forever. I was really extra pleased with the way the details popped on this piece. It's a great small detail piece for someone who would like an element that can be worn everyday. It's not huge.
