X2 Red Bio Bag Package Filter bag contains beneficial bacteria, microorganism cultivation base, and grains.   Filter bag  can be used for daily tank use.  One bag will last up to three months. How it works: The bag contains a medium that supports the growth of biofilm and the biological maturation of the tank. The bag's surface develops a bacterial coating that helps maintain water quality and provides food for shrimp. The bag also releases enzymes and complex sugars that are beneficial for shrimp. How to use: In an established tank, soak the bag in tank water the day before adding it to the tank. The bag should sink within 24 hours.
