Blue Oasis Turquoise Mine located in Nevada this mine is owned by a good friend I have known for many years. Blue Oasis is a little known mine and only a few pounds are taken each year. I am lucky enough to be one of the few people in the USA he will sell rough to. I buy my rough direct from the miner giving me the best price and that added bonus of PROVENANCE. Provenance for those that are new to the business simply says my Blue Oasis Turquoise can be tracked back to the mine and there is NO guess work as to where the material came from. Provenance is important because it adds value to the stone. The Son and I do all the cutting work we never farm it out. We are Native American gem cutters, we are registered members of the federally recognized Native American tribe Wichita Indians out of Oklahoma.
