Black & White Ebony - (Diospyros Embryopteris - South East Asia, Burma) A distinctive, rare, true Ebony, Black and White Ebony originates from Southeast Asia and Laos. By definition, Ebony has no hue, but rather contains neutral colors like black or white. This special variety has inky black variegations flowing through pale milky white. It is an incredible wood with amazing color contrast. Each wood barrette is individually handmade and will have some variations in appearance.I've been making wood hair barrettes for over 20 years.
