Handcrafted Medium wood barrette in Tigerwood. Medium approx. 3" long size of metal clip: 70mm / 2 3/4" Good barrette to pull back a section of normal thickness hair or all of fine hair. Tigerwood also called Goncalo Alves (Astronium graveolens, )  Beautiful, highly prized wood - light reddish brown to deep mahogany red-brown with a striking figure created by beautiful, bold, brown to nearly black irregular markings or striping.  Photos are examples of wooden hair clips in specific wood types. Each is individually handmade and may have some slight variations in appearance. These Barrettes are built to a very high standard for a lifetime of wear and are gallery quality.
