Muse Earrings

These long silver earrings feature a waterfall of nine patterned sterling discs. The number nine has significant meaning in many cultures. In Greek Mythology there were nine muses that were the goddesses of Art and Literature. With that inspiration, I named these lightweight dangle earrings. Each disc is given surface texture, handcut and linked together. Next, they are given a charcoal patina to bring out the texture. They perch from a pair of handmade sterling earwires.
