Muse Necklace

This modern silver y-shape sterling silver necklace features a waterfall of nine patterned sterling discs. The number nine has significant meaning in many cultures. In Greek Mythology there were nine muses that were the goddesses of Art and Literature that gave the naming inspiration for this design. Each disc is given surface texture, handcut and linked together. Next, they are given a charcoal patina to bring out the texture. The chain has a bright satin finish that contrasts with the darkened pendant.
