Nest Necklace

This petite silver necklace holds a bright nugget of solid 14k yellow gold within its fold. The gold contrasts beautifully with the surrounding bed of sterling silver wire. I gave the nest pendant a dark charcoal patina and then hand-buffed the metal to create a monochromatic contrast, while the gold maintains its bright hue. I love darkening silver to give an overall modern and edgy feel to my pieces. The chain is a matte finish and my signature stamp is located on the back.
