Sleeping Beauty Cuff - OOAK

This sterling silver cuff bracelet is a statement piece of jewelry and features a large stunning free-form piece of robin's egg blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona is perhaps the best known and also the most desirable of all American turquoises. Alas, this mine has now been closed which makes the beautiful large piece of turquoise in this cabochon ever so more rare and desirable. I created a sleek modern setting for this cabochon and paired it with a more ornate band. The band itself is also very unique and composed of a wide strip of flat silver that is flanked on either side by flattened beaded wire. Altogether this one of a kind piece of jewelry has a modern and global look and is quite the statement piece.
