DETAIL SIZE CHART OW Samurai Jeans No. S0255XX-NTA15oz Slim Tapered "USHIWAKA" Model Minamoto no Yoshitsune (源 義経) lived from 1159-1189. Yoshitsune's childhood name, Ushiwakamaru (牛若丸), served as inpsiration for the name of this USHIKWAKA model. His older half-brother Minamoto no Yoritomo would go on to found the Kamakura Shogunate. A skillful swordsman, Yoshitsune defeated the lengendary warrior monk Benkei in a duel (at the Gojo Bridge). Since then, Benkei became Yoshitsune's disciple, and eventually died with him at the Siege of Koromogawa.
