Homegrown Summer Blooms and Alder Leaves

Botanical Dye Eco Print - This art was made by steaming plants on watercolor paper, releasing their pigments and tannins in a variety of patterns. This form of art is commonly referred to as eco printing. This original eco print has been mounted to a cradled wood panel canvas. A UV protective varnish was applied to the eco print, but it should not be left in direct sunlight. This piece is complete with wiring on the back for hanging.
