Poudre River Walk

I painted this piece after a walk along the trail. It is set in late winter and I pushed the colors to depict some of the remaining foliage on the trees. I especially love to show both warm and cool colors in winter scenes. I paint using soft pastels and use sanded paper especially designed for painting in the pastel medium.
