Inspection Square

Blue Spruce's new Inspection Square improves visibility without sacrificing strength. With the beveled edges, you can clearly see if your material matches the blade, but the 1/8" thick stainless steel machined core has a strength and durability you won't find in a thinner blade. The first time you handle this tool, your first impression will include the word "mass". The beam scales are machined from 416 stainless steel and then treated with a black nitride surface finish. They are pinned to the core with stainless dowels, creating a reliable reference surface, individually tested to be well within 0.001" over the length of the blade.  The beveled edge also shines when doing layout work. Your pencil's edge has a solid guide, but not one that requires you to bring your pencil in at an odd angle.
