Purple Radiant Orchid Handmade Pottery Round Bottle

This radiant orchid purple color is really difficult to achieve which makes this round bottle / vase quite unique and rare. A truly unique exquisite wheel thrown bottle vase form featuring Marietta's unique metallic finish, or otherwise luster, that gave it this unique reflective surface. 4" high and 3-3 1/2 wide. The iridescence is achieved by adding 12% 22k Gold in powder form into the glaze and the piece is fired multiple times including a reduction firing (absence of oxygen during firing). The dragonfly wing effect is done by hand-painting.You can use this with dried flowers, it is decorative and does not hold water. An excellent gift for a housewarming party or a wedding.
