BMC Classic Lido Riding Horses - 15pc Plastic Figure Playset 45mm Accessories

From the BMC Toys Classic Army Men Collector Series, another old favorite from the golden age of plastic toys rides again. This 15 piece Set of riding horses includes 5 each Black, White, and Brown horses with plastic injection tooled-in saddles and reins. All horses are the same pose standing 2.6 inches tall x 3.25 inches long (including tail) x6 inch wide (at saddle), and made from slightly stiff HDPE plastic with just a little flashing. These horses are hollow underneath and the inside legs are flat. Scale is approximately 1:40 (45mm) and Originally produced by Lido around the mid 1950s, then later Joy Toy, and possibly TootsieToy, Strombecker, Tim Mee Toy / Processed Plastic Co. as the plastic injection tools were passed down through multiple company acquisitions and mergers.
