HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Measuring Transducer Sensor Module for Arduino      The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor uses sound waves to determine the distance to an object. It offers excellent non-contact range detection with high accuracy and stable readings from 2 cm to 400 cm (1 inch to 13 feet) with an accuracy of 3mm, in an easy-to-use package. Its operation is not affected by sunlight or black material like optical rangefinders are (although acoustically soft materials like cloth can be difficult to detect).
