Bee happy wall hanging

Who can look at this "Bee Happy" wall hanging and not smile? The bee is cut from Sapele, a rich brown wood in the mahogany family, and mounted on an oak backer with the word "Happy" cut out from it on a scroll saw. That middle layer, in turn, is attached to another layer of Sapele.  Each layer is 1/4 inch thick. The two woods contrast nicely against one another. This display can be used as a wall hanging, but it could also be propped up on a desk, shelf, or similar surface. It measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 8 inches tall by 3/4 thick. The display was finished with several coats of warm satin polyurethane.
