It has soft, powdery, or smokey notes as well. Some lavenders have a more medicinal camphor smell that is closer to the balsamic resin scent of rosemary. Our Handcrafted Artisan soaps are all made with skin loving ingredients. Rich Oils and Butters and Sodium Hydroxide. All soaps have Lye! That’s how soap is made. During saponification, the chemical reaction between the lye and other ingredients forms soap. That chemical reaction changes the lye so that it's no longer present.
