Red Tide - "cherry quartz" pendant strung with "cherry quartz" beads, glass fish and faceted glass beads; sterling clasp. Approx 19.5" L This piece had many working names: Red Fish, Koi, Coy, goldfish...but Red Tide seemed so much more tongue in cheek.... Oh FYI - cherry quartz, strawberry quartz etc. is just beautiful glass. Some sources claim that ground up quartz is melted down and mixed with minerals to create this beautiful glass, but I never want anyone saying I was trying to mislead them saying it was a natural mineral.
