Ancient Mariner

Ancient Mariner - bronze viking knit chain (24g wire, 3.5 mm chain) with bronze dolphins charm, raw aquamarine, tassel, and died pearl wrapped with bronze wire. Approx 21.25” L I always forget how challenging bronze can be, but this beauty is worth it. Approximately 8 hours to complete the chain and a few more to create the pendant. This piece is influenced by some jewelry I am saw spring 2017 at the British Museum...the dolphins are in the style of Ancient Greece and I saw handmade chains from the Roman Empire.
