Dark Walnut Vertical Pull Gentleman’s Chest

 A thoughtfully constructed, very sexy, midcentury dark walnut gentleman’s chest. This piece features gleaming dark walnut grain and a glossy finish. It has a bank of five drawers on the right and a long narrow door on the left that opens via a vertical sculpted pull with a dimpled brass inlay backing. The door opens to reveal two adjustable shelves. At the bottom is a wide drawer that opens via sculpted angled wood pulls and contains a cedar-lined bottom within. All of the drawers glide easily on metal tracks and the top two right drawers have dividers built in. This piece rests on sculpted spider legs that extend from a sculpted bifurcated stretcher base. There is slight wear in the form of dings to edges that have been colored to match, and slight finish wear to top as well as a repaired chip to the back right corner of the top. There is also slight veneer break to back edge that we have adhered. See pics. It is in overall great vintage condition.    47" long by 21" deep by 52" tall
