Bokksu Original Edo Kiriko Glass
Created in collaboration with Bokksu, this radiant Edo Kiriko glass is crafted for those who appreciate timeless artistry and exceptional quality. Edo Kiriko, a traditional cut glass technique born in the Edo period, is revered for its refined elegance. Unlike other styles, it emphasizes the beauty of the glass itself over an abundance of cuts, allowing each detail to shine through with intention and grace. This special edition glows in a vivid amber hue—chosen exclusively for this collaboration—and features finely hand-cut wrap lines that form a mesmerizing vortex (uzumakimon) motif, a design seen throughout Japanese history in kimonos and ceramics. Peer into the glass and you’ll discover a sokogiku, or chrysanthemum flower, blooming from the base. About the Maker Muromachi Glass Crafts has upheld the Edo Kiriko tradition for over 130 years, creating hand-cut crystal glassware that bridges past and present with timeless craftsmanship and beauty.
