Sakura Amazake Sweet Sake

Amazake is a traditional Japanese beverage made from fermented rice, like sake. While its name means sweet sake, it's actually alcohol free. It's made by mixing steamed rice and water with kome koji, and allowing it to ferment and develop natural sugars. Cherry blossom leaves were added to amazake to produce this sweet and floral beverage. It is also delicious when warmed or paired with Japanese sweets!
