In 1992, we opened our first location in Coral Gables and quickly became the go-to spot for University of Miami students. For 14 years, Taco Rico grew alongside the budding demand for Tex-Mex restaurants, forcing us to open a South Beach location in 2006, and then three more in Pinecrest (2008), Doral (2011), and Bird Road (2014). In 2015, we franchised our business and established our first franchisee-owned unit in the Kendall area, followed by Brickell and Cutler Bay!
