Japanese Zelkova, Medium

Resistant to Dutch elm disease. Develops fine twig ramification and smooth bark. Adapts to a range of well-draining soils and prefers slightly moist conditions. Handles urban conditions well and is tolerant of wind exposure and partial shade. The "Medium" Zelkovas come in a 12" wide pot. They will have thicker trunks and more ramification (branches/leaves) than those in the 10" wide pots, but less than those in the 14" wide pots. Comes in a traditional clay pot from YiXing, featuring a patent-pending water-retaining design for easy care.
