Stainless Round Edge Concave Branch Cutter (804) - 8.25"
Concave cutters are the standard tools used to reduce or remove branches. Round-edge models cut easier than straight-edge models as the cutting edge is thinner and longer. They create clean, even cuts similar to cuts made with knob cutters. Straight-edge models are stronger and easier to sharpen than round edge cutters. Tool Tips The blades of concave cutters are designed to overlap. This maintains edge sharpness and makes cutting easier compared with blades that don't overlap. Stainless steel models are less likely to rust than carbon steel models if they get wet. Carbon Steel models are stronger than stainless steel models and easier to sharpen. Usage Concave cutters are designed to cut branches up to 1/2 the size of the blade length. Cutting larger branches may result in damage to the tool. The heel-end of the blade is stronger than the tip. Use the heel-end of the tool for cutting larger branches. Made in Japan by Kaneshin
