Small, fat, vintage hardcover w/ dust jacket in very good condition.  Dime for scale.  Dust jacket has light shelf wear and a few spots of discoloration but is otherwise excellent.  Book itself reads good as new.  Some bumping to top of spine.   He wrote about poor people struggling to survive and about dispossessed people grappling for a piece of land they could call their own.
